Mobile Mechanic – DPF & General Vehicle Repairs We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mobile Mechanic to join our team. The role will mainly involve DPF cleaning and regeneration work, along with a range of general mechanical repairs and servicing. Main Responsibilities - Carrying out DPF cleaning and carbon removal using a DCS Carbon Flush machine and/or compressed-air cleaning equipment. - Diagnosing DPF-related faults and carrying out appropriate cleaning and repair procedures. - Carrying out general vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs. - Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults where required. - Brake repairs and replacement. - Suspension, steering and exhaust repairs. - Oil, filter and fluid changes. - General inspection and fault-finding of vehicles. - Attending customers at their location and completing repairs to a high standard. - Maintaining a clean, professional and safe working environment. - Keeping customers informed about the work being carried out and any additional repairs required. Requirements - Previous experience as a mechanic/vehicle technician. - Good knowledge of modern vehicles and common mechanical faults. - Experience with DPF systems and DPF cleaning is preferred. - Ability to use diagnostic equipment and basic workshop tools. - A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. - Must be reliable, punctual and able to work independently. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
