Drillers Wanted –Barrow-in-Furness

Key Responsibilities
- Work safely at all times, complying with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and relevant regulations.

Interpret and work to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

Select and inspect the appropriate tools and equipment required for drilling and stud welding operations, ensuring they are safe and fit for purpose.

Verify completed work meets the required quality standards and specifications.

Manufacturing Operations Duties
The successful candidate will be competent in:
Drilling to depth
Drilling clear holes
Flat-bottom drilling
Countersinking
Reaming
Tapping
Counter boring and back knifing
Facing
Stud welding
Essential Qualifications
Completed and approved apprenticeship in a relevant engineering or manufacturing trade.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline.
Pay Rates (PAYE) LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY WITHIN 39 MILES FROM SITE
Standard Days: £20.10 per hour
3 on / 4 off Days: £24.12 per hour
Umbrella rates are also available.
