The Holford Arms is a welcoming countryside pub, restaurant, and venue known for great food, good times, and a friendly team. We pride ourselves on creating a warm environment for guests and staff alike, and we’re now looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll support the chefs, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and help ensure our guests receive an excellent experience every time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Washing pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy, and organised
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when needed
- Managing waste and recycling
- Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are always followed
- Helping to maintain a positive, supportive team environment
About You:
- Hardworking and dependable
- Able to work efficiently during busy periods
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential — full training provided
