Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Physical Audit: Perform a full manual audit of all IT hardware located at the Bathgate site, including workstations, peripherals, and networking equipment.
Inventory Management: Create and maintain accurate digital records in a central inventory database, ensuring every item is tracked by serial number and specification.
Lifecycle Categorization: Sort equipment based on its current status and future utility:
o Retain: Identify assets to be moved to refurbished sites (e.g., Maxim).
o Repurpose: Identify functional legacy hardware for alternative internal use.
o Recycle/Dispose: Coordinate with designated recyclers for the ethical disposal of non-essential equipment.
Decommissioning Support: Work closely with the local Onsite Enablement team and project engineers to support decommissioning tasks and ensure all assets are accounted for prior to site closure.
Logistics Coordination: Organize the physical movement of assets and prepare hardware for secure transportation or disposal collection.
Key Requirements
- Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage high-volume inventory projects.
- Data Management: Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets) and databases to maintain detailed, error-free records.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in recording technical specifications and serial numbers.
- Physical Capability: Ability to handle, lift, and sort computer hardware and peripherals daily in a warehouse or office environment.
- Proactive Mindset: A self-starter approach to site clean-up and a commitment to maintaining a structured, organized workspace.
- Communication: Ability to provide clear updates to IT leadership and project managers on inventory progress.
Pay: £2,600.00-£2,900.00 per month
