Overview: Newsstand is the UKs largest magazine retailer whilst also a fulfilment house for over 200 independent magazine publishers. It’s a family company with over 125 years in the industry.
Based in our warehouses and offices in Whitstable, we dispatch thousands of shipments every single day to all around the world.

Full Time Role: 35 hrs per week. Monday – Friday 9am-5pm

The Role:
When publishers launch a new issue of their magazine and deliver their stock to our warehouse, the Publisher Team liaises with the publisher and our warehouse team on a whole raft of workflow – including….
- Responding to publisher email enquiries in a timely manner, including dispatch-related queries and questions regarding new title releases.
- Keep publishers White-label wesbites up to date using WooCommerce.
- Liaising with the publisher on their needs and requirements at every step of the way and seeking out opportunities to go above and beyond
- Creating shipping labels
- Discuss packaging options, insert options, and timings for dispatch
- Organising dispatch of bulk shipments to shops, wholesale and B2B
- Reacting to change and thinking on your feet
- Aftercare - such as tracking queries, customs hold ups and lost deliveries (sometimes it happens!)
- You would be comfortable with working with multiple titles at once, all at different stages of the workflow. Think ‘spinning all the plates’ but in an organised and well managed way
