Site Managers – New Build & Fit-Out (Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Retail)

Apex Talent Specialists is recruiting experienced Site Managers for an established construction contractor following the award of several new projects across Belfast and Northern Ireland.

The Role
As Site Manager, you will oversee the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of construction projects. You will coordinate site activities, manage labour and subcontractors, and work closely with the wider project team to achieve agreed programmes and quality standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects from site set-up through to completion and handover
- Coordinating direct labour, subcontractors, materials and daily site activities
- Monitoring progress against programme, budget and quality expectations
- Leading and motivating site teams
- Ensuring work complies with drawings and specifications
- Maintaining accurate site records, progress updates and project reports
- Conducting risk assessments and promoting high health and safety standards
- Identifying potential design or site issues before they affect delivery
- Liaising with contracts managers, project directors, engineers and other stakeholders
- Supporting subcontractor coordination and commercial discussions
- Ensuring completed work meets the required quality standards
About You
To be considered, you should have:
- Demonstrable Site Management experience within construction
- Strong experience across both new-build and fit-out projects
- A track record of delivering projects from start to finish
- Current and relevant site-management health and safety training
- Sound technical and practical construction knowledge
- The ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, organisation and team-building skills
- Confident decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- A professional, proactive and delivery-focused approach
