Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas with fresh ingredients, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Operate pizza ovens efficiently, monitoring cooking times and temperatures to achieve perfect results
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, supporting overall kitchen operations
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize waste
- Serve hot, freshly prepared pizzas to customers or assist in delivering orders promptly
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role, preferably within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to pizza making and meal preparation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling of ingredients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- Previous restaurant experience involving serving or direct customer interaction is advantageous
- A passion for culinary arts and creating memorable dining experiences
