As our UK business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced WMS Technical Consultant based in the Midlands to help deliver innovative supply chain technology solutions to customers across the UK and beyond.

About the Role
As a WMS Technical Consultant, you will work directly with customers, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, and Support teams to design, configure, and implement warehouse and logistics software solutions.
You will play a key role throughout the implementation lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support.
This is a hands-on customer-facing role that combines technology, consulting, problem-solving, and operational expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct customer discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions
- Understand warehouse, logistics, and supply chain operations and translate business requirements into software solutions
- Configure and implement WMS and TMS solutions
- Develop functional specifications, process flows, and implementation documentation
- Support testing, validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities
- Deliver customer training and knowledge transfer programs
- Assist with solution rollouts, cutovers, and go-live support
- Work closely with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes
- Identify opportunities to optimise customer processes and maximise solution value
- Build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders throughout implementation projects
What You'll Bring
Essential Experience
- Proven experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Experience working within warehousing, distribution, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, retail, or 3PL environments
- Customer-facing consulting or implementation experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse operational processes and workflows
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technology solutions
- Experience facilitating workshops, testing activities, and customer training
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Highly Desirable
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Blue Yonder
- Manhattan Associates
- Körber / HighJump
- SAP EWM
- Oracle WMS
- Microlistics
- Other enterprise WMS platforms
As well as:
- API and systems integration experience
- EDI implementations
- Data migration activities
- SQL or database experience
- Exposure to Transport Management Systems (TMS)

Location & Travel
This role is based in the Midlands and operates under a hybrid working model.
Travel to customer sites across the UK will be required as part of project delivery. Occasional international travel may also be required.
Some implementation and go-live activities may require work outside standard business hours.
