Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble takeaway orders accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, plating, and portioning ingredients to support kitchen operations
- Serve customers with a positive attitude, answering questions about menu items and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the takeaway counter, storage areas, and workstations in compliance with health regulations
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by handling meal prep tasks and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
- Manage order processing through POS systems or manual logs, ensuring all transactions are accurate and complete
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety practices, and kitchen operations enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Hands-on experience with food preparation techniques such as chopping, assembling dishes, or plating is advantageous
