The Position
We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Document Controller / Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing company documentation, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of projects and business activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage, organise and maintain project documentation
· Prepare and complete client PQQ submissions to support tender submissions
· Ensure company documents are correctly filed, updated, and distributed in line with company procedures
· Control document revisions and maintain version history
· Prepare reports, correspondence, and meeting minutes
· Maintain document registers
· Liaise with internal departments and clients
· Handle general office administration, including filing, data entry, and record management
· Type, format, and proofread documents and reports
· Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and data protection requirements
Skills & Experience
Essential:
· Three years previous experience as a Document Controller / Senior Administrator
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to prioritise workload and work independently, as well as part of a team
· Experience using document management systems
Desirable:
· Construction related administration background
· Knowledge of ISO quality management systems
· Experience using platforms such as SharePoint, My Compliance, or similar document control software
· Good level of SHEQ and technical understanding
