Job summary
Kams World Foods & Home is looking for 2 confident, friendly and energetic Brand Ambassadors to join us for our two-day launch event in Basildon.
You will be one of the faces of the Kams brand during our opening weekend, engaging with customers, offering free product samples, promoting the store and helping us create a fun and welcoming launch-day atmosphere.
This role would suit someone who is naturally outgoing, enjoys speaking to people and is comfortable approaching members of the public.
Main responsibilities
- Hand out free food and drink tasters
- Proactively approach and engage with customers
- Explain products and our different world-food ranges
- Encourage customers to follow Kams on social media
- Promote our customer loyalty / Black Card scheme
- Collect quick customer feedback on products and the store
- Support competitions, giveaways and promotional activities
- Direct customers towards different areas of the event/store
- Help maintain an energetic and welcoming atmosphere
- Keep the sampling and promotional areas clean and organised
- Represent Kams World Foods & Home professionally throughout the event

Experience
Previous experience is preferred in any of the following:
- Brand ambassador work
- Promotional events
- Product sampling
- Retail
- Hospitality
- Customer service
- Sales
- Exhibitions or events
Previous experience is helpful but not essential. Personality, confidence and reliability are particularly important for this role.
