We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician/beautican to join our vibrant beauty salon in the heart of hitchin town. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional nail services and beauty treatments while providing outstanding client experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilise diverse skills, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. The position is self employed. this is a daily rental role which is £40+ per day and suitable for individuals eager to develop their expertise within the beauty industry. The ideal candidate will have a small client base but wanting to expand. A portfolio of work will be needed and a trade test to show your skills and ability.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, BIAB, and nail art with precision and creativity.
- Exceptional beauty services using salon trusted equipment.
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs, offering professional advice, and ensuring a relaxing experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations; sterilise tools and workstations after each appointment.
- Engage with clients through social media management to promote services, showcase work, and attract new clientele.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong product knowledge skills alongside services.
- Strong management skills with the ability to organise appointments efficiently.
- Excellent social media management capabilities to build your online presence.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Knowledge of nail art trends.
- Knowledge of beauty trends.
