Responsible for: Supporting Students and Staff: Preparation of Design Technology related resources.
Working hours: Full time, Permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only, at 192 days Plus 5 directed Days.
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday: 8am – 4pm & Fridays, 8am – 3.30pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.
Inspire Learning Trust is a Multi Academy Trust based in Rotherham which also includes Oakwood High School, Sitwell Junior School, Thomas Rotherham College and Winterhill School.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and well-qualified candidate to join an enthusiastic, supportive and successful school as Design Technology Technician.

As a member of the Innovate Learning Zone, the successful candidate will provide technical support for the Design Technology department as part of the school Technician team.
- Candidates will have the skills required to work as a supportive member of a team and will have as a minimum GCSE A* - C or 9 - 4 in English, Maths and Science and a science qualification at an appropriate level.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm to develop support for Technology and safe working practices. All school staff undertake whole school duties.
- Successful candidate will be truly committed to supporting the students to make progress and achieve, with have high expectations and aspirations for student’s success.
- They will actively contribute to ongoing planning with imaginative and dynamic ideas, playing a key role in the school’s journey towards outstanding.
- All students and staff are provided with an electronic device to enhance learning and promote independence, supporting a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
