Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Works Contract Representative to increase tonnage throughput at a busy recycling site in Leicester. Your role will be to secure new business from factory arisings across a wide variety of sectors.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate contracts and amendments with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure favourable terms.
- Liaise regularly with stakeholders to communicate project status updates, resolve issues promptly, and manage expectations.
- Manage ongoing contracts
Skills
- Ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a works contract rep within the waste/scrap sector
- Strong management capabilities with proven experience in overseeing construction or infrastructure projects.
- Excellent negotiation skills to establish favourable contractual terms while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks within tight deadlines.
- Sound organisational skills to coordinate diverse activities efficiently across various teams.
- Valid driving licence for site visits and stakeholder meetings as required.
Salary and package subject to negotiation based on experience.
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
