Weybridge & Walton-on-Thames | Approximately 28–30 hours per week | £14-16 per hour
We're looking for someone special.
As our family and businesses continue to grow, we're looking for a trustworthy, organised and proactive Housekeeper who will become an important part of helping everything run smoothly.
This isn't simply a cleaning role. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys creating calm, beautifully maintained spaces, notices the details that others miss and takes pride in a job exceptionally well done.
The right person will probably gain satisfaction from leaving a room spotless, folding laundry neatly, organising a cupboard or noticing something that needs doing before anyone else does.
If you enjoy variety and like the idea of no two days being exactly the same, you'll probably love this role. You'll divide your time between our family home and our two local businesses helping ensure all three are consistently clean, organised and welcoming.
We're hoping to find someone who enjoys taking ownership, works independently and gets satisfaction from walking away knowing everything has been completed to an exceptional standard.
Your role will include:
Looking after our family home
- Maintaining our home to an exceptionally high standard
- Laundry and putting everything away
- Keeping wardrobes, cupboards and storage organised
- Working through a planned deep-clean schedule (for example skirting boards, woodwork, inside cupboards and wardrobes, kitchen appliances and other areas that aren't part of the weekly clean)
- Weekly food shopping
- Preparing simple, healthy meals for approximately three days each week
- Helping keep the household running smoothly with occasional errands
- Very occasional nursery drop-off or collection if needed
Looking after our businesses
You'll also maintain the cleanliness of our two boutique businesses based in Walton.
Each business is cleaned twice per week (approximately three hours per clean), ensuring they remain spotless, hygienic and welcoming for our clients.
The person we're looking for
You'll probably recognise yourself in many of these:
- You naturally notice what needs doing without being asked.
- You enjoy creating beautifully clean and organised spaces.
- You have exceptionally high standards and take genuine pride in your work.
- You're trustworthy, dependable and respectful of other people's homes.
- You're happy working independently and managing your own workload.
- You're practical, proactive and enjoy variety.
- You have previous housekeeping, domestic cleaning or similar experience.
- A driving licence and your own vehicle would be an advantage.
Hours
Approximately 28–30 hours per week.
The businesses require two cleans each week, with one clean ideally taking place on a Saturday afternoon. We're happy to discuss the exact working pattern with the right person.
Why join us?
We're looking for someone for the long term, who will treat our home and businesses as if they were their own. In return, you'll be working for a friendly family who genuinely values the people who support us. We want someone who enjoys becoming part of what we do, takes ownership of the role and feels proud of the difference they make every week.
If this sounds like the kind of role you'd enjoy, we'd love to hear from you. Please send us your CV along with a short note introducing yourself and telling us why you'd be a great fit.
