I'm looking for a flexible Personal Assistant who can take the chaos and structure it.
The role is based in a co-working environment in Rochester (2 days), with 1 day a week in Central London as well as flexible working from home.
I’m an Entrepreneur, Consultant Occupational Health Physician and single mum of two girls aged 3 and 5.
Over the last decade I’ve built something that started as a community and became an ecosystem.
- Medic Footprints is now a 120,000+ member global movement helping doctors find careers beyond traditional medicine.
- Doctors in Industry runs fellowship and accelerator programmes that genuinely transform careers where I coach and mentor at scale
- There’s an executive advisory practice working with senior leaders and organisations.
- A microschool in development, rooted in self-directed and alternative education principles.
The thread running through every single one of them:
Nurturing and elevating diverse leaders across the world.
That’s the mission. Everything I build sits inside it.
So what do I actually need?
I need someone who can walk into that world — with all its energy, its pace, its brilliance, and yes, its messiness — and make it run better.
Not by waiting to be told. Not by needing perfect information. But by having the instinct to know what matters, the structure to organise it, and the people skills to hold everyone — including me — accountable.
This role is for a minimum of 21 hours per week - scaling with project load & revenue generation.
You’ll work in person with some online including evenings, and you’ll also show up in person in mid-Kent regularly, working sessions, being physically present when it counts.
Weekly London travel too.
If you’re the kind of person who needs a fully mapped-out job description before you can move, this isn’t it.
If you’re the kind of person who reads chaos and sees a system waiting to happen; keep reading.
You'll be working directly with me, a small remote team and a large community of doctors.
You’re probably someone who…
- Gets genuine satisfaction from turning a messy voice note into a clear action plan
- Has managed multiple moving projects and somehow kept everyone else on track too
- Hates procrastination — in yourself and in others — and knows how to move things along without being a bulldozer
- Builds processes that actually get used,
- Loves people. Really. You have a community around you, a good network -in Kent and/OR online, and the kind of energy that makes collaborators want to stay close
- Cares about mission — equity, leadership, access, education
- Can work independently and pro-actively as well as in a team
- Is rooted in mid-Kent and genuinely available for regular in-person time
What I don’t care about
- Your age.
- Whether your CV looks conventional
- Whether you have a formal qualification in being a PA.
- What I care about is whether you’ve done this kind of thing OR have the skills / drive / personality for it - alongside having a real passion for the mission.
What you’ll get
- Real autonomy and real responsibility from day one
- A front-row seat inside a mission-driven ecosystem spanning health, education, community, and enterprise
- A founder who invests in the people around her
- Work that actually means something
- Mentoring, and learning on the job
