Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have Mercedes-Benz experience, will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive repair. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. MOT tester would be beneficial. Wage dependant on experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
