The Role
The Tameside Employment & Skills team, have 3 vacancies for Employment Support Workers within our front line services including:

The WorkWell team, which is our ‘front door’ to employment and skills support for all residents whether employed, unemployed or signed off sick

Routes to Work, our supported employment service for residents who live with disabilities, neurodiversities and/or acquired brain injuries

Tameside Futures, who support young people aged 16-24 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET)
You will work with the team to promote the support available, encourage engagement and help people to navigate to the right support for them. This may be 1-2-1 or as part of events at locations across Tameside.

We need people who are able to engage with Tameside residents, you’ll need good communication skills and a positive approach with an understanding of the barriers faced to access employment.
