Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated KP/Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our premises. This role involves supporting food preparation areas and ensuring a safe, sanitary environment in line with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, organisational skills, and experience in hospitality or related sectors. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen and dining areas, including surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of utensils, cookware, and kitchen appliances.
- Support in organising storage areas, ensuring proper stock rotation and hygiene compliance.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent contamination and accidents.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used efficiently.
- Assist with general hospitality duties such as serving guests or assisting in meal service when needed.
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of restaurant or hotel cleaning standards is desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic culinary skills or hospitality experience can be beneficial but are not essential.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests and colleagues.
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks within the hospitality setting.
This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness while supporting the overall guest experience in our establishment.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION AND ONLT FOR MONDAY TO THURSDAY FOR 4 DAYS AND 20-24 HOURS A WEEK.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
