Bar Supervisor Wanted – The Star Inn Gotham Immediate Start – Week Commencing 16th June 2026
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Bar Supervisor to join the team at The Star Inn, Gotham.
Hours: Minimum 21 hours per week
3 closes per week: Thursday, Friday & Sunday evenings
Additional hours available depending on business needs
Pay: £13 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
*Leading the bar team during your shift and maintaining high standards of service*Supervising staff, allocating tasks and upholding the standards set by management
*Working closely with the management team on promotional material, events and offers
*Serving drinks to a high standard, including cocktails, cask ales and wines
*Performing ID checks and responsible alcohol service (Challenge 25)
*Cleaning duties including bar top, glassware, fridges, back bar and general pub cleanliness
*Stock rotation, changing barrels, restocking bottles and maintaining excellent presentation*Covering available shifts as and when required
*Closing the premises responsibly as a key holder (training provided if needed)
*Working confidently on your own using initiative during quieter periods
What we’re looking for:
*Previous bar or supervisory experience preferred but not essential
*Key holder experience is advantageous but full training will be given
*A friendly, professional attitude with strong attention to detai
l*Ability to work evenings and weekends
*Right to work in the UK
