Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House Assistant to join our team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest services, assisting with food and beverage preparation, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle phone enquiries professionally, providing information and taking reservations when necessary
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
- Support kitchen staff with meal preparation as required
- Manage delivery drivers’ schedules and assist with parcel or order collection when needed
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Assist with organising reservations, events, or special functions as required
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or hotel environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience as a delivery driver or in courier services is beneficial
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures is essential
- Proven ability to deliver excellent guest services with professionalism and courtesy
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the front-of-house team as needed

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
