Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Assist in food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and other menu items according to established recipes and safety standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper handling of ingredients.
- Serve customers with enthusiasm, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, efficient service.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt order completion and customer satisfaction.
- Keep the café area clean, organized, and well-stocked by monitoring inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Follow all health regulations and safety procedures to create a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a barista with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
- Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, measurements, and ingredient portions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Exceptional serving skills with a friendly attitude that enhances customer experience.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards in food service areas.
