Rydon Maintenance have an excellent opportunity for Mobile Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Plumbing bias) to join our team.
Rydon Maintenance Ltd provides hard facilities management services across the NHS on a unique partnering agreement basis. We look after a growing number of healthcare buildings for NHS Trusts, residential homes and educational facilities. Using the latest technology we ensure properties are well maintained, efficient and fit for purpose.
As part of the role you will be required to undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance (PPM's) and reactive repairs. You will working in a mobile role in a patch which spans from Salisbury to Swindon.
Key Responsibilities Include;
- Carry out reactive maintenance on plumbing systems, associated plant and other general building maintenance across the sites.
- Carry out weekly/monthly PPM's such as water temperature temps.
- There will also be some planned maintenance activities such as planned upgrade works and refurbishment as part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe environment for service users.
- You will be provided with a handheld PDA to receive jobs, complete risk assessments, and close jobs in real time.
- You'll be part of a call out rota (which offers the opportunity to increase your earnings and be involved in additional urgent repairs)

Experience Required
- Proven building maintenance experience to include Plumbing.
- Previous experience working in healthcare or other commercial setting (this could be leisure centres, schools, supermarkets etc).
- Recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification in Plumbing
- Solid Health & Safety awareness
- Experience of using a handheld device (PDA) + Good IT Skills
- A full UK manual driving licence is required (no more than 6 points)
