We’re a fast-growing, passionate service, dedicated to breaking the cycle of abuse through direct support, awareness-raising, and lasting change. And right now, we’re looking for committed and compassionate Accommodation Worker to join our team.
Accommodation Worker
Hours: up to 37 hours per week (part-time hours available)
Salary: £29,541 pro rata (Scale point 12, rising within NJC Scale 5 with successful annual appraisal)
Term: 12 months. While this role is initially to cover a period of maternity leave, due to business growth there may be potential for this position to become a permanent, full-time role.
Base: Glossop (working with clients in our accommodation settings across High Peak and Derbyshire Dales)

Interviews: Week commencing 27th July
What the role involves:
- Supporting young people aged 16-24 who are victims and survivors of domestic abuse
- Delivering one-to-one support in a refuge setting
- Helping survivors to rebuild confidence, independence, and safety
- Working flexibly to meet the needs of the service
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of supporting vulnerable people, ideally in a safeguarding or support setting
- Empathy, resilience, and the ability to build trust with survivors
- A flexible approach — no two days are the same
- A full driving licence and access to a car (mileage reimbursed)
