Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team providing permanent full time holiday relief.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various types of loads, including Tipper deliveries. No nights out required.
Responsibilities
- Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport goods to designated locations, maintaining delivery schedules.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with customers if any potential issues arise
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driving licence (C+E).
- Current and valid CPC and Digital tachograph cards.
- Bulk Tipping experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
- Good geographical knowledge of London and surrounding areas
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: £150.00-£180.00 per day
