Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pizza Chef to join our dynamic Pizzeria in central London. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking Neapolitan style wood fired baked pizzas, with a passion for creating high-quality pizzas and delivering excellent service. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough, toppings, and sauces
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are available for daily operations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods
- Serve dishes promptly while maintaining presentation quality and customer satisfaction
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to create a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, particularly in pizza making and meal preparation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant or catering service is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
