Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service from arrival to departure
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using our practice management software
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff or departments
- Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and update medical records accurately
- Manage administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning documents, and maintaining office supplies
- Assist with billing procedures, including processing payments and explaining billing statements to patients
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organized, and inviting at all times
Experience
- Prior office experience is essential; familiarity with medical or healthcare settings is highly preferred
- Proven administrative experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and practice management systems
