We are looking to recruit an RVN to join our wonderful team at Rosehill Vets on a part time basis.
We take pride in delivering and maintaining the high standard of care our practice is known for. As an RCVS Tier 2 accredited nurse training practice, we are committed to supporting the progression of our team members.
Our team includes five RVNs, two student nurses, one animal care assistant, two clinical directors, four vets with an additional part-time vet joining in February 2026, five receptionists/support staff, and one practice manager. We're proud to have long-standing team members, including a receptionist with 40 years of service, a vet with 16 years, and an RVN with 26 years.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases', contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This is a part time role, working 32 hours per week with varied duties including nurse consultations and ops support. RVNs work a 4-week rotating schedule (3 early shifts and 1 afternoon/evening shift) and 1:4 Saturday from 9am–2pm. No out-of-hours work required.
The day-to-day duties will include:
- Assisting our Veterinary Surgeons in theatre and consultations
- Responsibility for inpatient care
- Assisting with patient admits and discharges
- Carrying out nurse consultations
We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
