We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for a Supply Chain Buyer to make a real impact based in Manchester.
About the role:
As a Supply Chain Buyer, you’ll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials are sourced, ordered and delivered on time, helping to keep operations running smoothly.
You'll play a key role in managing purchasing activities, maintaining accurate records, monitoring supplier performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, while building strong relationships that support operational success and customer satisfaction.
This role offers genuine variety, exposure to different areas of the business and the chance to develop skills that can lead to a long-term career in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or Operations.
What we’re looking for in our Supply Chain Buyer:
- Previous experience in an administrative, procurement or purchasing role
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
- A positive and proactive attitude
- The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
- Confidence when communicating with suppliers and colleagues
