We are seeking to recruit 3 Machine Operators for our site in Glenfield, Cowdenbeath. Reporting to the Shift Managers, you will be a key member of our production team producing our high quality yoghurts, kefir, or skyr.
We have openings on our dayshift/ backshift team as well as our nightshift team. You're hours of working would be 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, on rotational dayshift/ backshift, or nightshift available. Dayshift runs 6am - 2:30pm, backshift runs 2pm - 10:30pm, and nightshift typically starts at 9:30pm.
You will operate a variety of semi-automated filling machines in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures to manufacture dairy products. You will be responsible for carrying out routine quality assurance checks to ensure product is within specification. In addition, you will complete various start up and ongoing plant and equipment checks.
The successful candidate will preferably have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and will have a good working knowledge of food manufacturing. You will also have basic food hygiene and will have the ability to work on your own initiative.
