Accounts Assistant
Location: Southport/Hybrid

Salary - £25,000 per annum.

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and looking to develop your career within a busy and professional accounts environment? We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to become an integral member of our Accounts Team, supporting a wide range of financial and administrative activities that are essential to the smooth running of the firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels. Working within a supportive team, you will gain exposure to a variety of accounting processes while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
- Processing incoming cheques

Processing client and disbursement payments
-
Clearing client Balances
-
Aged debt analysis and credit control
-
Balancing ledgers at final billing stage

Updating spreadsheets
-
Dealing with fee earner queries

Closing client files
-
Complying with Solicitors Regulatory Authority Rules

Other accounts admin jobs as required
Essential Skills and Experience:
