Job Title: Sales Account Manager Department: Sales & Business Development Reporting to: Director / Managing Director Location: Roaring Threads Ltd Employment Type: Full-time Job Purpose The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients while driving sales growth across Roaring Threads Ltd. The role involves managing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, preparing quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will contribute to increasing revenue, expanding the customer base, and strengthening the company's position within the clothing, branding, and workwear industry. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a portfolio of customer accounts to achieve sales targets. Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research. Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and sales contracts. Negotiate commercial terms and close sales agreements. Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions. Work closely with production, design, and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. Monitor sales performance and prepare weekly and monthly sales reports. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities. Resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities to generate new business. Attend client meetings, trade events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities as required. Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant UK legislation. Essential Skills & Experience Degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related discipline. Proven experience in account management, sales, business development, or customer relationship management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding. Ability to analyse sales data and develop effective sales strategies. Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM software. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Full UK driving licence (preferred). Desirable Skills Experience within the clothing, branding, printing, embroidery, promotional products, or retail sector. Knowledge of supply chain and order fulfilment processes. Experience managing key commercial accounts. Personal Attributes Customer-focused and commercially driven.
