We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team at Direct Sameday Services (NW) Ltd. You’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients across nationwide, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with all transport regulations. Some nights out will be required. Time and half will be paid after 173.33 hours.£250 bonus after 3 month probation period completed successfully and £250 bonus after 6 months non-interrupted and complaint free service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
- Load and unload goods as required
- Complete delivery paperwork and logbooks accurately
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any faults
- Adhere to driving regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
