Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our commercial, finance and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations across various departments. Duties
- Procure materials using Xero software and ensure invoices are checked against POD's
- Utilise Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to generate reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Produce monthly P&L of accounts for each project
- Produce CIS returns to accountants for all subcontractors on a weekly basis
- Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate smooth processes and workflow
- Maintain organised filing systems for electronic and paper documents
- Support invoicing and billing processes using Xero or similar accounting software
- Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative procedures and workflows
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software
- Experience with Xero or other accounting/ERP systems is required
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrable experience in commercial administration or general administrative roles
- Good IT literacy and computer skills across various platforms
- Ability to manage time efficiently whilst handling multiple responsibilities
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
