Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Part Time Barstaff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience in a lively environment. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is desirable to accommodate busy periods.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests in a friendly manner
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Manage multiple tasks effectively, demonstrating good time management skills
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Must be aged 18 or over in accordance with licensing laws
- A professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
