DAPP UK is an established charity operating across the UK. Our shops sell donated clothing and goods to raise funds for international development projects and promote sustainable fashion through reuse.
We are looking for a reliable and flexible Shop Assistant to join our team.
This is a customer-facing retail role suited to someone confident, practical and able to work independently.
Applicants must be 18+.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serving customers and providing friendly assistance
- Operating the till and handling cash/card payments
- Replenishing stock on the shop floor
- Hanging, tagging and preparing donated clothing for sale
- Following brand and pricing guidelines
- Maintaining a clean and organised store
- Working independently on the shop floor when required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous retail experience (preferred)
- Comfortable working alone and in a team
- Confident dealing with customers
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Able to work at a steady pace when preparing stock
- Reliable and punctual
Important Information
- Zero hours contract – shifts offered based on shop needs
- Day shifts
- Weekend availability required
- Must be able to reliably commute to Leicester city centre
- Right to work in the UK required
