Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager (Civil) to lead and coordinate civil engineering projects from conception through completion. In this role, you will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring all aspects meet quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. Your proactive leadership will drive project success, foster collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, and deliver results that exceed expectations. Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and manage civil construction projects from start to completion.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Manage project costs and control budgets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Supervise site activities and resolve construction issues.
- Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Conduct site meetings and prepare progress reports for stakeholders.
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Ensure work meets contractual requirements and industry standards.
- Handle contract administration, variations, and claims.
- Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.
- Resolve conflicts and make timely project decisions.
- Monitor quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes.
- Ensure timely project handover, documentation, and close-out.
- Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs and identifying opportunities for efficiency without compromising quality.
- Utilize Civil 3D software for designing, drafting, and reviewing civil engineering plans and layouts.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain project timelines.
- Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and keep projects on track.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager or similar role within the civil engineering industry.
- Skilled in Civil 3D for civil design work including grading, drainage, and roadway layouts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management to ensure timely project delivery.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and environmental regulations relevant to civil projects.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
