Pay Scale: £27,871 - £31,506 per annum (Permanent)

Critical Requirements
- DBS: Position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check.
- Leadership Experience: Ability to lead a team, direct staff/volunteers, and mentor placement students.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Experience producing and updating dynamic activity and venue risk assessments, safeguarding protocols, and health and safety/food hygiene practices.
- Flexibility: Ability to provide community cover and work occasional evenings/weekends for social activities.
Core Responsibilities
Service Leadership & Programming
- Lead the IWS team to plan, resource, and deliver stimulating sessions that meet service users’ goals.
- Oversee venue and session health and safety, including fire evacuations, food hygiene, and incident reporting.
- Act as the primary daily contact for clients, carers, and community venues.
- Manage session administration, ensuring accurate attendance tracking on the CRM system.
Team Management & Development
- Lead team briefings/debriefings, address safeguarding concerns, and assign follow-up actions.
- Direct, guide, and support staff, volunteers, and placement students (including monthly 1-to-1 mentoring).
Key Worker & Direct Support
- Manage a caseload of specified service users: handle inductions, care plans, risk assessments, and goal reviews.
- Provide direct practical, emotional, and personal care support during sessions.
- Liaise with families, partners, and external organizations to provide robust holistic support.
Organisational & Professional Standards
- Maintain evidence-based practice by keeping abreast of acquired brain injury (ABI) research and developments.
- Represent the charity in the wider community and promote equality, diversity, and strict data confidentiality.
