Housekeeper based at Willowcroft, Derby

We're looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our friendly team, playing a key role in ensuring our care home is a comfortable and welcoming place for our residents, visitors and colleagues.
This varied role combines leadership responsibilities with practical housekeeping duties. You'll spend two days each week leading our Domestic and Laundry teams, helping to maintain high standards across the home, and two days supporting the team on the floor as a Laundry Assistant and Domestic Assistant.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and supporting the Domestic and Laundry teams.
- Managing rotas, conducting 1-2-1s and appraisals, and providing day-to-day guidance.
- Completing audits, risk assessments and quality checks to ensure high housekeeping standards.
- Managing stock levels and ordering cleaning and laundry supplies.
- Coordinating weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Working alongside the team as a Domestic Assistant and Laundry Assistant, ensuring the home remains clean, comfortable and welcoming for residents.
About you:
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous housekeeping or domestic experience, ideally within a care, healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Experience leading or supervising a team, with the confidence to motivate and support others.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team.
- A passion for delivering high standards and making a positive difference to residents' daily lives.

This is a 28-hour per week position, worked over 4 shifts per week (7.5 hours per shift with a 30-minute unpaid break).
