We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Domestic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised environment, ensuring that all domestic tasks are completed to the highest standard. This role is essential in providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for residents or clients.
Responsibilities
The Domestic Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for the residents and staff of the nursing home. This includes cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the facility, as well as performing basic maintenance tasks. The Domestic Worker must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to follow instructions carefully.
Clean and disinfect all areas of the nursing home, including resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and kitchen and dining areas.
Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and replacing air filters.
Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Report any repairs or maintenance issues to the Nursing Home Manager.
Assist with other tasks as needed, such as setting up and cleaning up for meals and activities.
Qualifications:
At least 6 months of experience working in a healthcare or hospitality setting preferred.
Strong cleaning and sanitation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to follow instructions carefully.
Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents and staff.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
