An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Sous Chef to join a well-established and highly regarded fresh-food restaurant in Scunthorpe.

Working alongside an experienced Head Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping deliver exceptional food while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency and service.
This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef looking for a new challenge or an ambitious Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in their career.
- Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Lead the kitchen team during preparation and service
- Ensure consistently high standards of food quality and presentation
- Prepare and cook fresh dishes using quality seasonal ingredients
- Assist with menu development and daily specials
- Supervise, train and mentor junior chefs
- Maintain stock control and assist with ordering
- Ensure all food safety, HACCP and hygiene procedures are followed
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an outstanding guest experience
- Help maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Experience working within a busy fresh-food restaurant, gastro pub or quality hospitality venue
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Calm and professional approach during busy services
- Thorough understanding of food safety and kitchen compliance
- Positive attitude with a genuine passion for developing others
