Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator and Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations within our organisation and handling a portfolio of clients requiring book-keeping and accounting assistance for which targeted training will be provided. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including telephone duties, scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
- Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent or Xero to update financial records and generate reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances to support financial accuracy.
- Support the preparation of financial documents to include vat returns and annual accounts and tax returns.
- Provide general administrative and book-keeping support to other departments as required.
Skills
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is an advantage
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes and financial record management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a professional attitude.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
