Blossom Lodgee is a modern nursing and residential care home dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care for older people, including those living with dementia and complex nursing needs. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and motivated Clinical Lead (RGN) to join our leadership team and help drive clinical excellence across the home.
The Role
As Clinical Lead, you will provide strong clinical leadership, ensuring the highest standards of nursing care while supporting, mentoring and developing the nursing team. Working closely with the Registered Manager and multidisciplinary professionals, you will promote a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the nursing team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, clinical governance and best practice.
- Complete and review clinical assessments, care plans and risk assessments.
- Oversee medication management and clinical audits.
- Monitor resident wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes in clinical needs.
- Support staff development through coaching, supervision and competency assessments.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, allied healthcare professionals and residents' families.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development.
About You
Essential:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC Pin.
- Previous experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership role within a care home.
- Strong knowledge of elderly care, dementia care and clinical governance.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding resident-focused care.
Desirable:
- Experience managing clinical audits and quality improvement programmes.
- Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience mentoring and developing nursing teams.
