Job Description
Training will be provided for all aspects of the job. Must have fluent English and good numeracy/literacy skills for the requirements of the role; excellent customer service; also ability to lift and move heavy items on stairs and from vehicles.
40hours. 8.30am to 5pm, 5 days per week over Monday-Saturday, working every second Saturday. Monthly rota issued in advance.
Job Summary
- Sort through donated deliveries for shop stock or recycling; price stock according to pricing guidelines
- Assist staff and customers moving heavy items including furniture, donation bags and assist in the loading/unloading of lorries as requested
- Dismantle and build bed frames, tables, etc
- Welcome and serve customers, attending to their requests
- Operate an EPOS system and fulfil rota duties in end-of-day cash-ups
- Ensure all H&S and quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the warehouses
