Bricklayer – Ad Hoc / Flexible Work
Location: Derby & East Midlands
Pay: £220–£250 per day, depending on experience

Gibbons & Co Construction Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Bricklayer to join our network of tradespeople for ongoing projects across Derby and the East Midlands.
This is not a full-time position. We are looking for someone we can call on as and when brickwork is required across our projects. Work will vary depending on our current workload, with the opportunity for more regular work for the right person.
Typical work may include:
- Brick and block work
- Building and rebuilding walls
- Extensions and alterations
- Repairs and remedial brickwork
- Repointing
- General masonry work
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has solid bricklaying experience
- Produces a good standard of finish
- Is reliable and turns up when agreed
- Can work independently when required
- Has their own tools
- Has their own transport and can travel to sites across the East Midlands
- Can provide evidence/photos of previous work
Rate: £220–£250 per day depending on experience and the job.
There is potential for ongoing work across our projects for reliable tradespeople who consistently deliver a good standard.
