We're looking for a Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team based in Northfleet Technology College, Kent.
Location: Northfleet Technology College, Kent
Hours: 20 hours per week (term time only) - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Cleaner to join our team at Northfleet Technology College. In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and students. Working Monday to Friday from 14:45 to 18:45, you'll ensure that the school building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in delivering quality cleaning services. Your day to day will include:
- Cleaning all areas including floors, surfaces, furniture, doors, sinks, mirrors and radiators
- Emptying waste receptacles and disposing of waste correctly
- Replenishing consumables such as hand wash, toilet rolls and hand towels
- Following COSHH regulations and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Reporting any maintenance or pest issues to your supervisor promptly

- You have previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office or commercial building
- You understand health and safety legislation, particularly COSHH and safe cleaning practices
