Salary: £40,000-£44,000
Are you a skilled Toolmaker with experience in precision engineering?
We're looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join an excellent manufacturing company, who takes pride in producing, maintaining, and repairing high-quality tooling that keeps manufacturing operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do

Manufacture, modify, maintain, and repair tools, dies, moulds, jigs, and fixtures.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Operate manual and CNC machinery, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.

Inspect components using precision measuring equipment.

Diagnose tooling issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimise performance.

Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality.
What We're Looking For

Toolmaking apprenticeship or equivalent engineering experience.

Experience in a toolroom, precision engineering, or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of manual and CNC machining.

Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
