We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operator. This role is responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across our entire property portfolio.
This could be suitable for a finishing foreman or someone who has worked on multiple sites as a caretaker.
This role involves carrying out maintenance duties and involves travel between multiple sites to ensure all properties are maintained to a high standard, with a focus on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Work will be allocated through a central system, and working collaboratively with your team to complete them efficiently, ensuring updated progress and a smooth workflow.
You will play a key role in building strong client relationships through clear, proactive communication and a personable approach.

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks across various sites, including basic plumbing, electrical, joinery, painting/decorating, and general repairs.

Regularly update the job reporting system with the status and progress of ongoing tasks.

Complete tasks that have been raised via the internal job reporting system, ensuring all work is logged and closed off accurately.

Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.

Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner.

Ensure all maintenance work complies with relevant health and safety regulations.

Work closely with on-site team members and contractors to coordinate larger repair projects when necessary, including supporting refurbishment or fit-out projects when required.

Keep accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and materials used.

Monitor and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are safe and in good working order

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Previous experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role.

First Aider and Fire Warden.

Good communication with team members to understand requirements.

Basic plumbing, carpentry, and tiling skills.

Competency and knowledge to change a plug on an electrical item such as a toaster/kettle, etc.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
