Main Activities, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer service - assist customers with any queries. Deal professionally with any issues customers may experience and offer a high level of customer service at all times.
- Customer orders - ensure customer orders are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. Assist customers with heavy or bulky items as required.
- General maintenance and upkeep of outdoor sundries areas.
- Merchandising of gardening sundries - carry out re-stocking of the outdoor sales departments.
- To work contentiously, safely and in a tidy, organised manner whilst being aware of customers requiring assistance.
- Ensure all relevant and current health and safety legislation is adhered to.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor or any other Department Manager.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a garden centre or similar retail environment.
- A good level of physical fitness.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
