H&K Workforce is looking for dedicated and self-motivated Street Cleansing Operatives to support a major client in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of public spaces across the Southwark borough.
This is a vital frontline role for individuals who take pride in their local community and are happy to work outdoors in all conditions. You will be a key part of the team responsible for keeping the borough's streets clean for residents and visitors.
Your Role:
- Carrying out street cleansing duties, including sweeping, litter picking, and emptying public bins on designated routes.
- Operating manual and powered equipment safely and effectively (e.g., barrows, leaf blowers).
- Reporting any environmental issues such as fly-tipping, graffiti, or overflowing bins to your supervisor.
- Working independently or as part of a team to ensure all scheduled tasks are completed to a high standard.
